These are my favorite ingredients to use while cooking. I am pretty much a snob with regard to specific brands when it comes to cooking. For example, I solely use the "Squid" brand for fish sauce.
You will notice that most Asian food bloggers will refer to a specific brand based on what the picture is on the label. The reason why is that some of the brands' names are written in languages that are harder to translate into English. I'm going to follow suit so you can at least identify them the next time you are at your local Asian Grocer.

Preferred Rice and Noodle Brands
The Three Ladies brand is my favorite because I've found that their rice is the cleanest when rinsing.
The Rose Brand sticky rice is by far the easiest to steam and turns out consistently.
Preferred Condiment Brands
The Green Mountain soy sauce is a mild soy sauce as compared to the ones you purchase at local grocers.
This is a mild fish sauce that I use pretty much with almost anything that I need a little salt with. Squid Brand is great!
I absolutely love the Panda Brand for oyster sauce because it has the right consistency when marinating.
